As Boris unveils the back end of the Great British lockdown, Triumph unveil a big something of their own. The Triumph Bonneville 2021 range is here and it’s looking more stylish and more exciting than ever before.

The British superstars of the biking world boast the new range has “beautifully evolved with even more performance, capability, character and style”. Never has a more accurate description for this range of modern classics been uttered.

The Launch of Bonneville 2021

Triumph took to YouTube for their introductory event at around midday. Motorcycle Television Presenter Matt Roberts opened the live stream. Describing the event as “the launch of the latest generation of a true motorcycling icon.” Following by a roar of engines as the bike were rode on stage to see for the first time.

As Triumph’s Chief Product Officer, Steve Sargent is introduced Matt continues by discussing the Bonneville’s enriched heritage with the first bike introduced in 1959. Sargent spoke how the launch of the Triumph Bonneville prior to the sixties was pivotal to the world of motorcycling.

Not only did the Bonneville look the part but also “redefined what performance and motorcycling was all about”. Sargent also boasts how the model played a huge role in the “explosion of teenage biking culture”.

The new generation Bonneville 2021

Despite the range’s roots submerged deep into the brand’s history, Triumph continue to evolve and this shows with every release. The Bonneville 2021 range are designed with that beautiful mixture of modern and classic style.

The bikes including in this year’s reveal are the T100 and T120, the Street Twin, Triumph Thruxton RS, the more laid back Triumph Speedmaster and the Bonneville Bobber.

Not to mention the Scrambler range which includes the stunning Speed Twin, Scrambler 1200 and the Triumph Street Scrambler. If this isn’t a lineup to get any modern classic enthusiast excited, we don’t know what is.

The official Triumph website confidently expresses how each bike in the collection “is enhanced for this greatest ever generation”. From what we’ve seen in the reveal video and accompanying imagery, we definitely can’t argue with that.

Engine

This year Triumph introduce two exhilarating options. The HT 900cc and HT 1200cc engine builds and capacities. Each with new upgrades for 2021 and lower emissions than before. As standard the Bonneville 2021 motorcycles offer excellent fuel economy.

Iconic Features

From the Bobber to the Scrambler, all revealed at the Bonneville 2021 event ooze style and character. Specifically designed for 2021 with enhanced finishes and detailing.

New Features

Technology has come a long way since the ’59 Bonneville. The new range of Triumph motorcycles manufactured in Hinckley, Leicestershire come complete with high specification suspension and brakes as standard.

Safety on the new Bonneville motorcycles has also been at the forefront of Triumph’s engineering. With their latest riding mode technology, ABS and improved traction control across the models.
